NSF-BSF Program in Earth Sciences: Hydrologic Sciences

Division of Earth Sciences (EAR) in the Directorate for Geosciences (GEO) of the NSF is inviting joit proposals for Israeli and American scientists in Earth Sciences .

The Hydrologic Sciences Program focuses on the fluxes of water in the environment that constitute the water cycle as well as the mass and energy transport function of the water cycle. 

Funding: $80,000 per year for Israeli partner
Duration: No fixed limit (3-5 years as per NSF decision)

US scientist full proposal due to NSF on 1.2.17
Both partners to submit proposal to BSF on 7.2.17

This program has no official NSF deadline, but applications that will be submitted to the NSF later than Feb. 1, will be processed only starting in late 2017, and awarded a grant in mid-2018.
