CDMRP Orthotics and Prosthetics Outcomes Orthotics Outcomes Research Award

The 2016 OORA challenges the scientific community to address which orthotic devices, treatments, and technologies will generate the best patient outcomes. 

The program offers funding for different research levels. The following are generalized descriptions of the scope of research appropriate for each research level:
Research Level 1/New Investigators: pilot research or research that is already supported by preliminary data a
Research Level 2: Research that is supported by preliminary data towards clinical translation.
Research Level 3: Advanced translational clinical studies or trials.

Level 1 $300,000 total 
Level 2 $500,000 total 
Level 3 $2,000,000 total 

Duration: 
Level 1- 2 years 
Level 2 and 3- 3 years
