CDMRP Traumatic Brain Injury and Psychological Health Research Program: Idea Development Award

The vision of this program is to optimize psychological health and reduce or eliminate the effects of TBI and traumatic stress. The program seeks to fund research to understand, prevent, and treat TBI and psychological health conditions that accelerates solutions to improve the health, well-being, and healthcare of Service Members, Veterans, military beneficiaries, and the American public.

The intent of the Idea Development Award is to support innovative, non-incremental, high-risk/ high-reward research that will provide new insights, paradigms, technologies, or clinical applications.

It is expected that eighteen (18) awards will be granted this year. 

Funding: $300,000 total
